Therapeutic massage is the oldest form of healing known to man.   Its origin is before recorded history and is found in
some form in every known culture in the world.  Massage is the intentional and systematic manipulation of the soft
tissues of the body to enhance health and healing.  Stimulating specific points along the body will trigger the release of
endorphins, which are your body’s natural pain-killers.   By integrating this ancient art of healing, we allow ourselves time
to relax, release, and renew.  People of all ages will benefit from this healing and wellness practice.

So, don’t you think it is time to step out of the hectic world and step through the gateway into a relaxing atmosphere
where you will find a little piece of heaven?  That is what you will find when you make a massage appointment at
Heavenly Kneads.  Soft gentle music and the light scent of sandlewood, vanilla and lavender permeate the senses as
you settle in for a lingering, full hour that will allow your body and mind to enter into a state of spiritual balance.

The medical community is beginning to recognize massage as a complementary or alternative therapy in relation to
Western medicine.  When massage is applied to the physical body, it affects the whole person; body, mind, emotions,
and spirit.  Regular therapeutic massage helps in preventing illness, assisting in healing, and optimizing well-being by
strengthening your immune system.  Muscle manipulation stretches and works the muscles to improve the tone... this
increases the blood flow to the heart.  Lactic acid is forced out of the muscles and through membranes along with soft,
fatty lipids.  After your massage, be sure to drink plenty of water.  When water is introduced to the body the lipids and
toxins are flushed out through the urinary system.

As a licensed practical nurse, I am excited about the opportunity to put you on the path to wellness!  I am offering
several
types of massage for your specific needs at the Tioga Suites Hotel.  Aromatherapy is an added bonus, free with any
massage treatment.  Gift Certificates are available.  Looking to save some money?  Receive a free $5.00 coupon for
each new referral, good toward your next massage visit.

Blessings,
